My name is Meighan.  I’m a Naturopathic Med student and I’ve clearly lost my mind because I’m committing to 90 days of yoga right smack in the middle of what’s going to be the busiest, most stressful time of my naturopathic education.  I’ll be doing yoga, everyday for 90 days and am following Eoin Finn’s Blissology Project.  I’m modifying his program a wee bit to tailor it to my naturopathic ways… so here are the major components:

1)  Gratitude:  Be thankful for something, or a few things, each day!

2)  Meditation:  Ten minutes of bliss each and every day.

3)  Yoga: Eoin’s provided a different routine for everyday of the week.  There are longer options, and shorter options.  I’ll be doing one of these daily.

4)  Food Awareness: Appreciate the goodness in your food!  I’ll be tweaking this one a bit to educate on any related naturopathic topics regarding food as the inspiration comes to me.

5) Nature Appreciation:  Eoin intended this one to be about getting in tune with the outdoors and the nature around you.  I’m tweaking this one a little bit too to share some of my favourite Botanicals that I’ve learned about at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

What am I hoping for at the end of all of this?

-To elevate myself to a place of perpetual tranquility, peace of mind, and absolute bliss and to spread that joy to others.

-To build endurance, flexibility, and above all strength for May when I begin Yoga Teacher Training with Eoin Finn himself in Ucluelet, British Columbia

-To truly make Yoga part of my lifestyle and not just something I do every once in a while.

-To have a killer bod… helllloooo!

Wish me luck!!

This is very wonderful to hear.

I would actually love to talk to you about your CCNM experience, I am thinking of applying there and I could really use some insight, not just about the program, but also about the yoga you are doing.

    Thank you
